not a clue how to edit yet so for now i will put my updates here

the interior is back together and the rear 1/4's dont leak any more! (i turned that into a mission and a half but all sorted now .. i hope) .... but after a bit of heavy rain on and off for the last few days its apparent i have a large leak somewhere else to find (possibly windscreen?), and a little dribble coming in via the passenger door as the foam is soaked again on the drivers side but away from the door
*gaps at the bottom corners of the windscreen mean i will get that refitted before stipping the car out again and seeing if that fixes it
*a few photos and new questions from me soon!

- i now have music!! a standard radio purchased was fittied and working with in 2 mins of it arriving in the post SWEET!!!
(*binned the old paper weight with a vengeful half crazy smile lol)

-hopefully Wednesday the car should be getting the front tyres (both have leaks or bad seals) and the tracking sorted (*so when i drive straight ahead i no longer head left lol)

- I might have inadvertently discovered an electic fault in the dash (to be confirmed) ... but the car came with no working speedo lights (not a problem until your miles away from home and it becomes night grrrr when you see they arent working) but having got the tools and numerous bulbs (long story) i got them working ... im now down to only one working (fault or dodgy connection is the guess so far)

the list go on (battery, mysterious fog light switch, wires under the chairs etc) but skipping to the major good news ... the old owners son came through like a demi god on parade!!
The car came with only one key (didnt realise that at first or what the cost would be for a spare) but i got told earlier hes found it as thats a lot of hassle and cash saved (and ive still not done the few basics i had planned for it due to the problems)


....but im still driving around smiling (even more so with a radio to lol) - viva la smart!
